PYTHON · SECURITY TOOLING

Small tools.
A security-minded foundation.

A lightweight Python toolkit for networking and security exercises in educational, authorised environments.

The project

PentestKit is a lightweight penetration-testing toolkit built for educational and explicitly authorised use. It brings together four focused tools for understanding TCP services, web paths, network hosts, and HTTP responses.

What I built

Each tool has a narrow, understandable purpose. Ethical-use constraints are part of the project documentation, not an afterthought.

TinyScanner

TCP port scanning for targets inside an authorised assessment scope.

DirFinder

Directory discovery using a brute-force approach in authorised test environments.

HostMapper

Host discovery within an authorised subnet.

HeaderGrabber

HTTP header inspection for understanding a server’s response.

Technical focus

The toolkit connects Python command-line development with networking, TCP, and HTTP concepts. The project is presented here as engineering and documentation work; the portfolio does not expose a network scanner or accept scanning targets.

Conceptual component map

Authorisation comes first. Only use security tools on systems you own or have explicit permission to assess. The interactive tool guide below is documentation only and sends no network requests.

Explore further

Select a tool to explore its documented purpose. This is a read-only guide, not a live scanning interface.
